We recommend for roads with speed limits of 50 km/h or less, Derand Motorsports suggests staying in the right lane or close to the curb due to the unit's size. How do I charge it?
Charging is simple with the ET4 Spark, its just like our other mobility scooters. It comes with a charger that plugs into any standard 110-volt outlet, so no special setup is needed. From 20%, it takes about 6 hours to fully charge.
Can I have a passenger?
The ET4 Spark includes a back seat without seatbelts so we suggest you don’t have a passenger. Derand Motorsports recommends using caution and checking your local laws for specific guidelines.
What is the top speed?
The ET4 Spark's top speed is 30kmh by law in Canada.
How far can I go?
The ET4 Spark can reach up to 80 km on a full charge, depending on the weather and driving conditions. However, Derand Motorsports estimates an average of 60 km on a typical day, considering factors like inclines, speed, and weather.
Can you drive this in the winter?
We offer a winter package for this unit, which includes new rims and winter tires for $799. While these will perform well in snow and on typical winter days, we recommend being cautious on icy days, just like with any car.
